DANVILLE — Melissa Norwood’s reaction to finding out the Danville Circle K she manages had sold a winning $2 million ticket in last week’s Powerball?
“I almost fainted,” she said Monday from the business at 401 W. Main St. “This is the largest winning ticket we’ve ever sold. Everyone here is beyond excited, and we’re eager to find out who the winner is — hopefully a regular, local customer.”
It’s the same question they’re asking in Westville, where another $1 million winning ticket was sold at the Phillips 66 at 1717 N. State St.
As of Monday, neither millionaire had claimed their prize, which they have up to one year from the draw date to do.
