Danville’s Noon Kiwanis Club has donated $22,000 to various local charities due to donations from the community and tickets sold for its pancake dinner.
A presentation of the annual awards was done on Thursday evening at First Church of the Nazarene on Vermilion Street.
President Mary Surprenant says that the 2020 event, which is normally a one-day event at David S. Palmer Arena, was different due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, it was held over the course of one week at the Vermilion County McDonald’s locations.
