A judge has denied a restraining order filed by Nicole Young against her estranged husband Dr. Dre. According to The Blast, Young filed a domestic violence restraining order against the rapper after claiming that she received multiple death threats.
In new legal docs, Young's lawyer Samantha Spector claimed that she has received death threats from Dre's fan base, along with threatening text messages from Dre himself.
She is asking a judge to order Dre not to contact her anymore and to order to him to stay away from her Malibu beach home.
Meanwhile, Dre's lawyer said that he hasn't seen his ex wife in a while and there is no need for a restraining order. He added that Nicole is citing “old” allegations to try to get a restraining order.
The judge is asking for more evidence to issue the restraining order and wants to hear testimony from both parties. A hearing is scheduled in three weeks.
