Balloons Over Vermilion, July 12-13, Getting Closer; Please Put in Your Request to Volunteer

With Balloons Over Vermilion 2024 coming up July 12th and 13th, the annual effort continues to get all the volunteers lined up.  Mary Surprenant and Kayla Fleming recently joined Tommy B on D102’s The Big Show.  As Mary pointed out, it’s not just the excitement of volunteering for Balloons Over Vermilion, but also the excitement of volunteering at an event at Vermilion Regional Airport.  She says once you join the team, you’ll want to keep coming back.

AUDIO: We have folks that come back year after year; and in fact every year I meet new friends, friends for life in fact.  What’s beautiful about volunteering; is the family atmosphere of course, but these jobs are really important.  There’s safety importance for the airport; safety and security.

This year’s Balloons Over Vermilion will take place 3 PM to 11 PM; both Friday, July 12th and Saturday, July 13th.
