THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE PUBLIC WORKS RELEASE
The City of Danville Public Works Division is now accepting sealed BIDs for equipment no longer utilized by the department. A list of equipment is available at the City of Danville Public Works Office, 1155 E Voorhees, Danville, IL 61832, or call 217-431-2288 for a copy of the list.
BIDs will be collected through June 20, 2024, until 4PM. All BIDs must be brought to the Public Works office during business hours from Monday through Thursday 7:30AM – 4:00PM. BIDs will be opened on Monday, June 24, 2024.
Once bidders are notified, all equipment pickup and payment transactions are to be completed by Thursday, July 11, 2024.
Required information to be included in the BID is as follows:
• Name
• Address
• Phone Number
• Equipment Item and offer amount
Each item should be listed with all equipment information as stated on the equipment list as well as the amount being offered for the equipment.
