Danville Area Community College hosted their 2nd Annual Back to School Block Party on Wednesday (Aug 7th) evening. DACC’s President Dr. Stephen Nacco says, they’re hoping to make it better every year.
AUDIO: The whole area’s invited, and the crowds are just going to keep getting bigger and bigger. We have more rides, more games than ever; zipline, rock climbing; which I never realized is an Olympic sport now.
Numerous DACC departments were on hand, including Child Development Director Melissa Hollingsworth.
AUDIO: We’re looking to recruit some more students while I’m here; and also make a little bit of extra money for the center, just to buy some more equipment.
