If you are looking for something to eat, as well as a good cause, this coming Tuesday evening August 13th in Covington; your answer can be found at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 308 Pearl Street. Funds from a special TACO TUESDAY fundraiser will go to Marilyn’s Village at 417 Liberty Street in Covington, just off the downtown square. Ryan Sowers from Marilyn’s Village recently spoke for a while with us, saying this is a free will taco dinner, with all donations going to benefit their mission.
AUDIO: So Marilyn’s Village is an adult disabilities day service that provides a place for adults with disabilities to work on life skills, communication skills, and pre-vocational job skills in our cafe. And that cafe is open to the public from 11 to 2 every day.
The Tuesday, August 13th TACO TUESDAY fundraiser for Marilyn’s Village, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Covington, will run from 5 to 7 PM EASTERN TIME.
