Danville, IL – March 7, 2025 – The East Central Illinois Athletic Association (ECIAA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering youth sports, is thrilled to announce two major athletic facility projects aimed at enhancing local sports opportunities.
Thanks to the generous support of our community and ongoing donations, ECIAA will be making significant improvements at Winter Park East Field for fast-pitch softball and reconstructing two new fields at the American Legion Youth Baseball Park. These enhancements will provide young athletes with state-of-the-art facilities to develop their skills, compete, and enjoy the game while creating facilities that will bring additional tournaments and events to our community.
“These projects reflect our organization’s commitment to youth athletics and the values of teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship,” said Brian Hensgen, President. “We are grateful for the continued support that allows us to provide high-quality facilities for our athletes at no cost to our local taxpayers.”
