“Operation Honor Guard” was created over a decade ago by Sunset Funeral Home’s Rich Darby; when he noticed on a hot day that the Honor Guard participants on hand for a Veteran’s funeral did not have the proper uniforms that Honor Guard members deserved. Immediately, Darby thought; “Something needs to be done about this.”
Now, over $3 million in donations later, “Operation Honor Guard” is taking it’s mission nationwide. Today (Dec 17th), at 11 AM CST, a video promoting “Operation Honor Guard” was released by country singer Blake Shelton.
