When Buddy Freed, front, with the American Legion Post 210 Honor Guard learned students were saying the Pledge of Allegiance in the mornings using a small flag at Schlarman Academy, he came up with the idea of getting donations for 10 new full-size flags for the classrooms. The Honor Guard presented the flags to the school prior to a Decision Day event for senior students on Monday.
