THE FOLLOWING IS A “TAPS ON TUESDAY” RELEASE
The first program for this year’s “Taps on Tuesday” season will be on May 26th. The events will be held each Tuesday evening through Labor Day at Spring Hill Cemetery’s Soldiers Circle starting at 6:00 p.m. The program for the first week will focus on the meaning of the “13 Folds of the American Flag,” a ceremonial tradition utilized for military funerals and holidays. The program will be presented by Larry Weatherford, Colletta Johnson, and Greg Green. Patriotic music will be provided by Rebecca Woodrum, Anita Zoeller and Keith Bouslog. Taps on Tuesday is presented by the War Museum and the Ward Hill Lamon Civil War Roundtable.
