DANVILLE — Due to extensive storm damage at Lincoln Park, the 37th annual Arts in the Park will have a new location this year.
The summer event that many in the area look forward to each year still will be June 27-28, but it will be on the south side of Ellsworth Park, announced Heather Runyan, president of the nonprofit that puts on the event.
The board decided on a back-up location due to the significant tree damage at Lincoln Park — which caused the park to be closed — and cleanup still to occur.
There still will be 18 featured artists, Illiana Antique Car Club’s Art on Wheels car show, stage performers, six food vendors, children’s tent and other activities that attendees love.
