DANVILLE — Following last month’s storm and water damage and subsequent closure, County Market officials announced Thursday morning that the store will be closing permanently and not reopening as planned.
In a social media post, owners Neimann Foods stated, “It has been one month since severe storms caused significant damage to the County Market store…”
“Since the damage occurred, we have worked diligently with our landlord in an effort to secure the substantial repairs necessary to safely reopen the store. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, those critical repairs have not been guaranteed, and the building cannot safely reopen in its current condition,” according to County Market officials.
