During Monday afternoon (August 17th) arraignment dates in Room 3B of the Vermilion County Courthouse, all three arrested suspects in the July 10th shooting death of 24-year-old Krisean Watson of Danville have now been given Monday, October 5th at 9 AM pre-trial court dates. All three suspects are in custody at the Vermilion County Jail.
On Friday evening July 10th at 8:27 PM, members of the Danville Police Department patrol division were dispatched to the 300 block of Plum Street for a subject who had been shot. Upon arrival, officers located Watson suffering from a single gunshot wound. Despite life saving efforts, Watson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Danville Police later located and arrested 19-year-old Javonte Forman and 19-year old Erik Jimenez, both of Danville; on charges of Aggravated Battery – Public Way, Mob Action, and First Degree Murder.
On Sunday, July 26th; 18-year-old Nathan Gray, Jr of Danville turned himself in at the Public Safety Building. At that time, Gray had an outstanding warrant for his arrest, with the charge of First-Degree Murder, in connection with the shooting death of Watson.
