Open interviews scheduled August 23-25 at State Farm Center
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – State Farm Center is looking for enthusiastic, dependable individuals to join its Event Staff and Security teams for the upcoming 2026-27 event season.
Team members have the opportunity to work behind the scenes and on the front lines of some of Central Illinois’ biggest events, including concerts, Fighting Illini basketball, Broadway performances, family shows and other major events at State Farm Center.
Open interviews for Event Staff and Security positions will be held at State Farm Center on:
- Sunday, August 23 | 4:00-7:00 p.m.
- Monday, August 24 | 4:00-7:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, August 25 | 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Event Staff positions include greeting guests, scanning tickets, assisting guests with seating and facility information, serving as ushers and working within Illinois Premium Seating areas. Starting pay is $15 per hour.
Security Staff members help provide a safe and welcoming environment by monitoring crowds and secured areas while delivering exceptional customer service. Previous security experience is preferred but not required. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, cannot be enrolled in high school and cannot be full-time employees of the University of Illinois.
