Fischer Theatre Seeking Directors for Upcoming Season

The Fischer Theatre is now accepting director submissions for our 2027 in-house theatre season, and we’re looking for creative, dedicated, and community-minded individuals to help bring the next season to life!

If you have a passion for storytelling, collaboration, and creating meaningful theatrical experiences, we encourage you to apply.

Our directors will:
✔ Lead casts and production teams effectively
✔ Collaborate with theatre leadership, staff, and volunteers
✔ Present a strong artistic vision
✔ Manage rehearsals professionally and respectfully
✔ Create engaging and memorable community theatre experiences

To apply, please submit the following by October 31, 2026:

• Resume and/or theatre experience

• Production ideas or shows of interest

• Vision or concept for proposed productions

• Directing philosophy

• Preliminary thoughts on casting, staging, and audience appeal

• Availability for the 2027 season
