THE FOLLOWING IS A DISTRICT 118 RELEASE
There will be no formal Board of Education meeting. However, a majority of a quorum of Board members will likely be present while attending the Village of Tilton Board Meeting, Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 5:30-7:00pm – 1001 Tilton Rd Tilton, IL 61833. School district business will be discussed. According to the Illinois Open Meetings Act, proper notice of a meeting is required to be given. No action will be taken by the Board of Education.
VCF NEWS NOTE: THE DISTRICT 118 BOARD HAS CALLED A SPECIAL MEETING FOR 3 PM on Wednesday, September 16th. It will be a closed session meeting, but the agenda includes “public comment” prior to going into closed session.
