DANVILLE, IL… State Representative Brandun Schweizer (R-Danville) is announcing his upcoming Medicare 101 seminars he is hosting across the 104th District. Two events are scheduled:
- Tuesday, September 22nd from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Savoy Recreation Center, 402 Graham Drive, Savoy, IL
- Wednesday, September 23rd from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the David S. Palmer Arena (Civic Center) Room 127, 100 W. Main Street, Danville, IL
“I am happy to partner again with the Illinois Department on Aging’s SHIP Program to provide crucial information about Medicare,” said Rep. Schweizer. “With constant changes happening with insurance coverage, I encourage anyone who is enrolled in, planning to enroll in, or knows someone enrolled in Medicare to attend these free and informational events.”
The seminars are free events co-hosted by experts from the Illinois Department on Aging’s (IDoA) Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP). SHIP is a free statewide health insurance counseling service for those with Medicare and their caretakers.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about Medicare, ask questions, and receive insight and guidance on the many facets of Medicare.
The event is open to anyone wanting to learn more about Medicare. Attendees are encouraged to bring any questions they may have regarding Medicare. Pre-registration is not required but recommended, as space is limited.
