DANVILLE — “That’s What She Said” — the show where local women from all walks of life take the stage to share their personal experiences — returns to Danville this weekend.
Under the direction of Lisa Ellstrom and Jenette Jurczyk, national director of The She Said Project, the live performances are set for 2 and 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at Danville Area Community College’s John and Kay Shaner Theater inside the Bremer Center, 2000 E. Main St. Tickets are on sale at danville.shesaidproject.com/tickets.
Every year, a nonprofit partner is chosen to receive a portion of the show’s ticket sales; this year that partner is CASA of Vermilion and Edgar counties. CASA’s mission is to advocate for children who have experienced abuse and neglect by providing trained volunteer advocates who speak up for their best interests in the court system.
Participating in this year’s show are eight women: Megan Mattingly, Amre Hightower, Tonya Hill, Markesha Parker, Sasha Powell, Lily Siu, Nicole Van Hyfte and Jacqueline Ward.
