Dear Friend of the Fischer,

The Historic Fischer Theatre has always been shaped by people who believe in what this theatre means to our community. Now, there’s an opportunity to play an even greater role in what comes next.

The Vermilion Heritage Foundation is currently accepting applications for its Board of Directors through October 31st.

More than just supporters of the Fischer, board members are active participants in its future. Members help advance the theatre’s mission, contribute to strategic planning, provide financial oversight, support fundraising efforts, attend and champion Fischer events, and use their individual time, talents, connections, and expertise to help the organization grow.

We’re looking for engaged community members who value the arts, historic preservation, downtown Danville, and the Fischer’s role as a gathering place for our community. You don’t need to be a theatre expert. You do need to be ready to participate, collaborate, and bring something meaningful to the table.
