THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
Danville, October 10, 2025 – The City of Danville does hereby announce that funds are available for home repair through the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) Home Repair and Accessibility Program (HRAP) Funding Assistance.
The City of Danville is accepting applications for homeowners to apply for needed home improvements within the City of Danville limits. The purpose of this funding is to assist lowand very low-income homeowners by providing funds for critical health and safety repairs and accessibility improvements.
Homeowners that live within the city limits of Danville, Illinois may qualify for up to $50,000 in Home Repairs. Eligibility requirements include household income limits to be less than or equal to 80% of the AMI. The property needs to be owner occupied, and if applicable, current on mortgage payments. Eligible submissions will be selected for assistance through a lottery process.

Grant applications will be accepted between 7:30 AM, October 13th through 4:00 PM, October 27th, 2025. Applications are due to the City of Danville Community Development Division, 1155 E Voorhees St, Suite A, Danville, IL 61832. Please submit your application no later than 4:00 pm, Monday, October 27th, 2025. Applications submitted outside of the above date and time will not be accepted.
