Both the Danville Police Department and Vermilion County Coroner’s Office are reporting that an as yet unidentified to the public individual was found deceased Thursday (May 21st) afternoon, at the construction site at 128 N. Walnut, the location of the former Studio 25, in Danville. Police officers were called to the scene at 12:36 PM, on the report of a deceased subject. The individual was pronounced deceased at the scene, discovered during demolition work on the building.
Identification will be released after an autopsy is conducted and next of kin are notified.
