DANVILLE — A Friday night shooting on the city’s east side has left one male dead and Danville Police arrested two teens in connection with the homicide.
Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden identified the victim as 24-year-old Krisean M. Watson of Danville.
The Vermilion County Coroner’s office has notified Watson’s family. An autopsy was scheduled for later Saturday.
The Danville Police Department located and arrested Javonte Forman, 19, and Erik Jimenez, 19, both of Danville, on charges of aggravated battery – public way, mob action and first-degree murder in connection with Watson’s death.

According to police, at approximately 8:27 p.m. Friday, members of the patrol division were dispatched to the 300 block of Plum Street for a subject who had been shot.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
