DANVILLE, IL… State Representative Brandun Schweizer (R-Danville) is announcing the launch of his new Community Spotlight initiative, aimed at recognizing local businesses and nonprofit organizations in the 104th District that make a positive impact on the community.
“Local businesses and nonprofit organizations are the backbones of our communities,” said Rep. Schweizer. “They create jobs, serve neighbors, support families, and help make our communities a great place to live in work. I am happy to offer this initiative and encourage everyone to nominate a local business or non-profit that has made a lasting impact.”
Nominations can be submitted online by visiting RepSchweizer.com and filling out the form named “Community Spotlight Nominations,” nested under the resources tab. Nominators will be asked to provide their information as well as the information of the business or organization they are nominating. Nominations are accepted anytime and do not need to be resubmitted if not selected during the month they were submitted.
Rep. Schweizer will select one nominee per month. Nominees will receive a certificate from Rep. Schweizer, as well as be featured in a press release, on his website, and on his social media pages.
