THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
Danville, September 10, 2026 – Norfolk Southern Railroad has informed the City of Danville that they will be closing the crossing at Bowman Avenue near Maple Street beginning at 7:00 AM Monday, September 14, 2026. It is anticipated that the construction work will be completed prior to 7:00 AM Saturday, September 19, 2026.
