Monday, September 14, 2026 — The Danville Noon Rotary opened its September meeting by recognizing outgoing Rotary President Terri Cummings for her leadership and service throughout the past year.
Rotary President Ross Webb also recognized Natalie Duncan, who was presented with a Paul Harris Fellow pin in honor of her generosity and commitment to Rotary’s global humanitarian efforts.

Following the recognitions, guest speaker Rheanna Pierce, Community Relations Administrator for the City of Danville, shared an enthusiastic look at the many resources, services, programs, and events available to the community. Pierce focused on the city’s efforts to change public perceptions of Danville by increasing awareness of all that Danville has to offer.
As the youngest division head in the city’s history, she highlighted many of the city’s initiatives and events, including the City of Danville’s new app, First Fridays, the Fall Festival, the Labor Day Parade, the Holiday Bazaar and more.

Pierce also shared a mailer that was designed to address questions the city receives most frequently. It serves as a one-stop shop for useful information, including contact information for the mayor, alderpersons, and other city officials; a map of the city’s wards; trash and yard-waste schedules; event calendars, hours of operation, utility billing links and more.
The Danville Noon Rotary meets at noon on the first Monday of each month at WorkSource Enterprises. The next meeting will be held Monday, October 5, 2026. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
