Two new Danville probationary firefighters were sworn into duty by Mayor Rickey Williams, Jr; during Tuesday (Sept 15) morning’s ceremony.
For Luke Koller, a graduate of Mahomet-Seymour High School, this has been a live long dream.

AUDIO: You know, since I was a little boy I wanted to be a firefighter. So, I’m just happy that Danville’s giving me that opportunity.
Charles Vestal is a graduate of Fisher High School, but he grew up with family in the Catlin Area.

Tuesday morning’s ceremony was held in the Danville City Council Chambers.
