THE FOLLOWING RELEASE IS FROM THE VAN HYFTE GRANT LAB
New TVHGL Institute offers practical, live online grant education for nonprofits, businesses, municipalities, schools, and community organizations.
DANVILLE, IL. – The Van Hyfte Grant Lab has launched the inaugural TVHGL Institute Fall 2026 Lunch & Learn Series, a new professional development opportunity designed to make grant education practical, approachable, and immediately useful.
The live online series will feature three one-hour classes this fall, each focused on a challenge grant seekers identified through a recent TVHGL Institute interest survey.
Thursday, October 22 | 12:00-1:00 p.m. CT Grant Writing 101: From Opportunity to Application Learn how to evaluate a grant opportunity, understand what funders are asking for, and build a stronger application from start to finish.
Thursday, November 19 | 12:00-1:00 p.m. CT Finding Grants That Actually Fit
Thursday, December 3 | 12:00-1:00 p.m. CT Grant Writing for Small Businesses Learn where to look for funding, how to determine whether an opportunity is truly a fit, and how to stop wasting time on grants that are not a strong match. Learn how small business grants work, where to find legitimate opportunities, what funders are looking for, and how to position a business competitively.
The series is designed for nonprofits, small businesses, municipalities, schools, community organizations, board members, staff, and anyone who has ever found themselves saying, “I guess I’m the grant person now.” Participants do not need to be professional grant writers or have extensive grant experience to attend.
Each registration includes live instruction and Q&A;, a downloadable workbook and templates, replay access, and a certificate of completion. Classes are $49 individually or $129 for the full three-class series.
“We asked people what they actually wanted help with, and we built the first Institute series around what they told us,” said Nicole Van Hyfte, founder of The Van Hyfte Grant Lab. “The goal is practical education people can take back to their organization or business and use right away.”
