All three suspects arrested in connection with the July 10th shooting death of Krisean Watson have had their cases continued to Monday, November 30th, at 9 AM.
Watson, 24, was located in the 300 block of Plum Street, suffering from a single gunshot wound, after members of the Danville Police Department Patrol Division were dispatched at 8:27 PM on Friday, July 10th. Watson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police later located and arrested 19-year-old Javonte Forman and 19-year-old Erik Jimenez, both of Danville; on charges of Aggravated Battery – Public Way, Mob Action, and First Degree Murder.
Later that month; on Sunday, July 26th, 18-year-old Nathan Gray, Jr of Danville turned himself in at the Public Safety Building. At that time, Gray had an outstanding warrant for his arrest, with the charge of First-Degree Murder, in connection with the shooting death of Watson.
During a brief arraignment of charges in the Vermilion County Courthouse Monday (Oct 5th) morning, it was mentioned that Gray is now also charged with Aggravated Battery – Public Way and Mob Action.
Jimenez and Gray and being represented by separate individual attorneys, while Forman is being represented by the Public Defenders Office.
On the prosecution side, Daniel Weiler represented the Illinois Attorney General’s Office during Monday’s court session. for all three cases.
The orders for all three to remain in custody at the Vermilion County Jail were continued as well.
