‘Twas the 26th of October, and Monday afternoon Danville Public Works staffers were out and about in Downtown Danville decorating for the holiday season. Public Works’ Gary Robinson said it should all take a handful of days. Yes, they’re out doing it earlier this year, but on an unseasonably warm day like Monday, you can’t go wrong.
AUDIO: We’re doing the lights for Downtown Danville at Christmas; and, right now, we figure it’ll be done by next Tuesday, after we get everything in place. Yes, this is the earliest. It’s pretty nice out here for starters.
And yes, the traditional “Lighting up of Downtown Danville” will still take place in November during “Festival of Trees.”
