Danville, October 5, 2026 – On Friday, November 6th, from 5:00–8:00 pm, join First Fridays for Potterfest as downtown Danville transforms into a magical world filled with plenty of wizarding fun for the whole family!
Grab your map and follow the clues throughout downtown to complete the Potterfest scavenger hunt and compete for the grand prize. Discover what’s been brewing in the potions lab and claim your very own bottled potion slime. Dress as your favorite magical character for a chance to win the costume contest or satisfy your appetite with rich Butterbeer and delicious treats from local shops and food trucks. From 5:30–7:30 pm, don’t miss the Danville Symphony Orchestra live at Temple Plaza, bringing the sounds of the wizarding world to life as you explore the many magical stops and shop Potter-themed vendors along the way. End the night at the historic Fischer Theatre for a special showing of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at 7:00pm.

POTTERFEST ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION
Danville, October 5, 2026 – On Friday, November 6th, Potterfest returns for yet another year of magic as Downtown Danville transforms into the beloved wizarding world we all know and love! Roads will close starting at 12:00pm and open at 8:30pm.
Closures will be: Median at 112 N Vermilion Street to the intersection of North Street and N Vermilion Street. AND Intersection of North Street and N Vermilion Street to alleyway of Temple Plaza.
