THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION COUNTY CORONER’S OFFICE RELEASE
Danville, IL- The Vermilion County Coroner, Jane McFadden stated that an afternoon motorcycle accident on 2250 North Rd., in Fithian, IL resulted in the death of a 43-year-old Catlin woman. The victim has been identified as Gennie M. Appelman.
The accident occurred at approximately 1:38 p.m. Ms. Appelman’s family was notified and an autopsy is scheduled. The Illinois State Police and the Vermilion County Coroner’s office continue to investigate.
