Reports say that Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion after an argument early Sunday morning (July 12th) after leaving a party in the Hollywood Hills. According to Page Six, a source said that the two had an argument inside Tory's chauffeured vehicle. The source explained, “Tory fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave. There is video and the police are investigating. This is a case of a man physically harming and abusing a woman.”
An LAPD spokesperson has confirmed that they are investigating the incident. A spokesperson said, “The detectives are seeking information regarding the shooting involving Daystar Peterson, and the investigation is still ongoing. I’m not privilege to what the detectives have right now.”
It is also being reported that possible footage of the incident exists.
As previously reported, cops arrested and charged Lanez with carrying a concealed weapon after pulling him over in his SUV. The rapper was released after posting $35,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 13th.
Initial reports said that Lanez was arrested and Megan was hospitalized after cutting her foot on the glass, but Megan set the record straight earlier this week via Instagram, saying, “On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night.”
Megan’s best friend Kelsey Nicole, who was also in the car, also denied that she was the one who shot Megan. She wrote, “I WASN’T the one with the gun and would never do something like that. However I was present.”
Megan's producer Lil Ju had some words for Tori, he tweeted then deleted, “@torylanez count your fu**ing days. I care about my people being straight! Give a damn about some clout.”
