Carle has announced the appointment of a new administrator for its hospital in Hoopeston. Heather Tucker will be overseeing the daily operations of the 25 bed critical CHRHC hospital. Tucker’s interim role now permanent, she will provide leadership in areas including Medical Surgery, Emergency Department, Facilities, Radiology and Laboratory Services and other areas.
Tucker began her career at Carle in 2006 as a float nurse and gained experience in several areas. Most recently Tucker has served as director of Primary Care Services for the east region for Carle and interim hospital administrator.
Tucker is a life-long Vermilion County resident who received her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lakeview College of Nursing.
