The Salvation Army of Vermilion County is having their Coat Drive this Saturday, 9 AM to Noon at their 855 East Fairchild location in Danville. The Salvation Army’s Melissa Wilhelm says this will be done drive-thru style; with gently used or new items being accepted.
AUDIO: Any jackets, coats, scarves, gloves; would be greatly, greatly appreciated and certainly welcome. Adults’ coats and items are going to stay here at the Salvation Army. We will distribute those throughout the season, until we don’t have any more to give out, essentially. All of the children’s items will go to Fair Hope Children’s Ministry. And they are partnering with us, they will be out there with us on Saturday, the 29th.
