Presence PRO Ambulance has announced it has expanded its service to Oakwood and Tilton. PRO Ambulance has been providing service in Danville since February.
‘’We will now be able to provide ALS (Advanced Life Support) care in the field and will be able to save many more lives,’’ said Oakwood Mayor Clay Woodard. Tilton Mayor Dave Phillips added he is ‘’very excited to be able to provide our community with 24/7 paramedic coverage.’’
PRO will be partnering with Oakwood Rescue and the Tilton Fire Department to make sure that an advanced life support provider is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. PRO will provide back up to the volunteer services currently available in those areas served by Oakwood and Tilton units.
Presence Health Regional President and CEO Jared Rogers is excited about the new service. ‘’We are honored to have been selected as the lifesaving partner in Tilton and Oakwood,’’ said Rogers. ‘’We look forward to working with the volunteers and continuing to provide excellent care, right here in Vermilion County.’’
