Father’s Day will be here before you know it; Sunday, June 19th. And on the Friday after that, June 24th, the Women’s Care Clinic in Danville will be showing a special movie for fathers; and entire families are invited to the evening’s program that includes the movie. The Care Clinic’s Molly Goodwin and Mariah Hansen joined Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection. Molly Goodwin explained the plans.
AUDIO: Friday June the 24th, 6 o’clock in the evening, it’ll run until about 9 o’clock; we have an event for Father’s Day. We are going to show the movie “Show Me the Father.” It’s a production I was able to see in the theater last fall, it was in a few theaters for a weekend. Even though it is a Father’s Day event, everyone is welcome. It’s not just for dads, it’s not just for men; but everyone welcome. We want women to attend too because the message of the movie is for everyone.
That movie on the 24th will be shown at the Crossroads Christian Church, 3613 North Vermilion in Danville.
The Women’s Care Clinic is located at 1509 North Bowman, next to Goodwill and behind Shark’s Grill. To hear Laura’s entire interview with Molly and Mariah, go to https://vermilioncountyfirst.com/the-community-connection/.
