Some of the art will be for sale. Guido has a couple of musical artists, student artists, to be playing and entertaining us for probably about an hour. Prior to that, on Monday, October 30th at 5:30 in the Vermilion Room, the DACC Board of Trustees Audit Committee will be getting together. DACC President Dr. Stephen Nacco explains.
AUDIO: What happens with the Audit Committee; which is Chairman Harby, Vice-Chair Greg Wolfe, and Senior Board Member Terry Hill; is they’re going to review the report. The report looks at all of our finances, and looks at all of our operations, and finds it’s a clean audit; and that still is open for further revisions and feedback. It’s really is an information session.
The full Board of Trustees will later vote on approval of the audit. In action taken during Thursday (Oct 26th) evening’s meeting, the DACC Board of Trustees officially approved the new Fiscal Year 2024 Budget, which came in at about $19.7 million, for an increase of about seven percent from the previous year. Also approved was a lease agreement with the City of Danville, which will give the DACC softball team their own field at Winter Park, to be used and maintained by the DACC Athletic Department.
