Danville’s Sweet Adelines will be putting on their annual Christmas Luncheon this Saturday, December 2nd; in the DACC Bremer Center. Sweet Adelines Director Peggy Marruffo recently joined Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection program.
AUDIO: So, the Sweet Adelines are on stage. People come in, they get a nice lunch prepared by the DACC Culinary Arts group; and then we provide the entertainment. And while they’re there they can participate in a silent auction, or then can purchase food items from our little sweet shop area.
All proceeds from this year’s luncheon will go to Salvation Army, Danville. Tickets are $25 each; and Wednesday, November 29th is the final day to make reservations. Just call 217-474-0473. Saturday’s event begins at 11:30 AM, doors open at 11 AM.
