Danville Community Relations Administrator Ashton Greer recently told Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection program that Danville’s Corporate Membership package is meant to even more help city companies connect their workers with fun, at discounted prices. Greer explains how it all began.
AUDIO: It’s an opportunity for businesses to subscribe to this program, where they get a discounted Harrison Park Golf Course membership. And then when a business opts into this program, they can then extend it to their employees, as like an employee perk.
And now, Greer says, much more is offered on top of Harrison Park memberships, such as something scheduled to open in Danville this coming May.
AUDIO: It also includes the new Garfield Park and Pool. Our community is so excited about this pool. And then you can offer your employees this perk. And you can also offer them payroll deductions, so that the cost is split between all their paychecks.
Other local recreational entities involved in today’s Danville Corporate Membership program involve bowling, skating, tennis, or even the Escape Room at the Fischer Theatre. Businesses interested in signing up, to give their employees these opportunities in this year’s corporate membership program, need to have the paperwork in by April 1st.
