One of Downtown Danville’s most popular First Fridays events is back again for this Friday evening May 3rd. SPORTS AND BREWS will have all kinds of sports activities in the streets; along with the rock wall, a dunk tank, and even karaoke. And this year, for five dollars, you can even zipline across Downtown Danville. There is a 60 to 200 pound weight limit, so little kids will have to watch, and wait for their turn in a couple years.
The city’s Rheanna Ollis and Erin Gregory recently joined Tommy B on D102’s The Big Show to chat about the First Friday’s SPORTS AND BREWS, and it would be safe to say that there’s so much excitement going into this year’s event, that it’s hard to mention all of it.
AUDIO: As always we have bounce houses down. One of the bounce houses is huge, and had like a volleyball net in it……………….

Just a reminder that you’ll need to sign a waiver for the ziplining. If you’d like to take care of that ahead of time, just e-mail Rheanna Ollis at rollis@cityofdanville.org.
You can also send a message requesting a waiver to FirstFridaysDanville.com, and you’ll find more information about the entire SPORTS AND BREWS event there as well.
