Description of Incident:
Danville firefighters were called to the 900 Blk of North Hazel Street on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 8:17 AM for a reported structure on fire. Upon inspection, first arriving firefighters found a fire in the rear of the building and a moderate amount of smoke coming from the structure at 909 N Hazel Street.
After quickly knocking down the fire from the outside of the building, firefighters proceeded to enter the structure and perform a search of the building. The search yielded no victims. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Danville Fire Department.

Fire Cause: Undetermined.
Injuries: No injuries were reported.
