THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION VOLES RELEASE
The Vermilion Voles Vintage Base Ball Club will open its 2024 season with a match at Kennekuk County Park on Saturday, June 15 at 12:00PM Central
Time. The Voles will be playing host to the White River Base Ball Club of Noblesville, Indiana.
The Voles club is entering its 21st season. Team members play ball as documented in 1858. Clubs play with replica bats, balls, and uniforms of that
era. The rules and customs of 1858 include bound outs and barehanded play. The Voles’ home field is located along the Kennekuk County Park main
road across from the Ironwood Springs Lake Mingo Boat Access parking area.
Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Parking is available at the ball field site.
