Monday, July 15, 2024, Danville Noon Rotary welcomed Illinois State Police Master Sergeant Jennifer Smit. Smit discussed her career journey from teacher at North Ridge Middle School, to police officer at the Danville Police Department to her current role as Master Sergeant with the Illinois State Police. She made a positive impact on her students as an educator, and she now serves as an advocate leading police investigations on crime against children. Mrs. Smit is a true testament to Rotary values in promoting integrity, advanced world understanding, goodwill and peace.
Danville Noon Rotary’s next meeting is Monday, July 22, 2024, WorkSource Enterprises, 3713 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL. Guest speaker will be Jen Slavik, Integrative Nutritional Health Coach with Two Roads Wellness Clinic. Rotary would like to welcome everyone.
