THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION HOUSING AUTHORITY RELEASE
The Wash Away Violence Event is presented by the Violence Prevention Task Force. This is the 2nd year for the event that is hosted by Vermilion Housing Authority and Survivor Resource Center. It’s a fun event for the whole family to enjoy. It’s a way to work together to end violence in our community.
This WAVE, or “Wash Away Violence Event,” will be held at the Fair Oaks pavilion on Saturday, July 20th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will mark the event’s second year.
WAVE will include food, inflatables, games, music, prizes, bubbles and guest speakers. The goal of the event is to encourage ending violence in the community.
