THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
The Danville Police Department, along with OSF Healthcare and members of our community, are hosting a Mini-Marathon and Fun Day promoting fitness and healthy lifestyles for our community’s children!
There will be Disk Golf, Football, Soccer, Bocce Ball, Bags, food trucks, and inflatables. The main event, the Mini-Marathon, will have 4 age-groups including a Sibling Event in which younger children can participate with the assistance of an older sibling or helper. There are many different volunteer opportunities available for this event such as the marathon registration table, inflatable monitor, and sidewalk chalk station!
