Rubber Ducky Readers: Join this fun Beanstack Challenge! For every 10 books read, the child will get a rubber duck, every 100 books equal a book, a sticker and a certificate, 1000 books equal a goody bag filled with a book, a sticker, a completion certificate, a stuffed animal, a blow-up rubber duck, etc. This challenge is for ages 0-6. Visit https://danvillepubliclibrary.beanstack.org/ to join the fun!

May 18: Children’s Wonder Garden Club. Gardening event for children and families. This program is made possible through a partnership with the University of Illinois Extension Office. This month, we will be making Mother of Thousands! 4:30 PM in the Program Room.

May 19: Teen Crafternoons. Tuesdays = your creative time. Hang out and make cool stuff. No sign-up, no stress. Just show up and create something awesome! This week: Watercolor Techniques – let your creativity flow with dreamy watercolor designs. While supplies last. 3:30 – 4:30 PM in the 2nd Floor Teen Space. Ages 13 – 19.

May 19: Tween It! Tuesdays. Fun programs for tweens each Tuesday. This week: BINGO! Come play Bingo and win prizes. 5:00 PM in the Program Room. Ages 8-12.

May 19: Vermilion County Master Gardeners. Discover how to enhance your landscape with beneficial native plants! May 21: Lit Fit with Mandy. Join us Thursdays starting in April for a dance fitness series that’s as fun as your favorite book. All fitness levels welcome. Bring your water bottle and wear clothes that can handle your best moves! 3:00 – 4:00 PM in the Program Room.

May 23: Story Time. Have a great time listening, interacting to stories and making a fun craft! Saturdays at 11:00 AM in the Children’s Department.

Adult/Teen Craft: Stop by the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor for a take & make craft! Starting May 1: Air-Dry Clay May Flowerpots! While supplies last.
