THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to notify residents that Garfield Place will be closed from Maple Street to Fairchild Street beginning at 6:30 AM on Thursday, May 21, 2026, due to an emergency sewer repair. The roadway will remain closed until work is completed.
Local residents will continue to have access to their homes; however, limited use of the roadway is strongly advised during this time to allow crews to safely and efficiently complete the repair.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible and to use caution when traveling near the work area.
We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as crews work to complete this emergency repair as quickly as possible.
