THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION COUNTY WAR MUSEUM RELEASE
The July 4th First Saturday event at the War Museum will feature free admission all day with special emphasis on the Early American section of the Museum during tours throughout the day. You’ll learn about the Revolutionary War soldiers who settled in Vermilion County, the War itself, Women of the Revolution and the “Illinois Country” during the Revolution. The War Museum is located at 307 North Vermilion Street in Danville in the 1903 Carnegie Library Building. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
