Danville’s Mayor Rickey Williams, Jr has announced that he is running for reelection in the 2027 Consolidated Election.
In a video released Monday (July 27th), Williams stated that “I’m incredibly proud of everything my team and I have done to make Danville a better place to live, work, invest, and play.”
This brings to five to total number of announced Danville mayoral candidates for 2027; with the others being Aldermen Doug Ahrens and Tricia Teague, the Reverend Frank McCullough, and former Danville Police Officer Dennis Witsman.
